Sensei Cole’s Wednesday lessons in Swindon start back on 11 September. The lessons will be taking place at the new venue of Dorcan Recreation Centre, St.Paul’s Drive (the same as our Swindon grading centre). Lesson starts at 7.00 until 8.30pm.

Just to remind you that the 2019 summer camp is fast approaching – Friday 9th to Sunday 11th August in Bournemouth. First lesson starts on the Friday 10.45am.
Make sure you book your room as soon has possible direct with the hotel as there are not many rooms left.

SSKA Annual Kata & Kumite Competition 2019
Sunday 14th July 2019 at Dorcan Recreation Complex, St Paul’s Drive, Swindon SN3 5BY.
We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our annual kata and kumite competition. Deadline for entries has been extended until 24 June. Please get your entries in as soon as possible.
Trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. All competitors will receive a certificate and a medal. Gum Shields, mitts andsShin guards must be worn when competing in kumite.

Please note there will be a slight time change to the advertised programme for this years Winter Camp. On THURSDAY 30 JANUARY the FREE Instructors training will take place from 2pm-3.30pm with Instructor gradings starting at 4pm approx.

This course is for all instructors, including junior instructors, and anyone 4th Kyu and above who may be interested in becoming an instructor and considering running an SSKA club.
It’s important for all instructors to attend this year’s course as we will be introducing a NEW Grading Syllabus.
The course will give you new ideas in teaching your students, advice on the promotion of your clubs and also concentrating on your own Karate to help you progress.
